Superior products are exclusively available to accredited Ajax Systems partners. Only certified partners can sell, install, and administer devices from the Superior product line. This ensures professional installation standards and proper system configuration for project-based security installations.

What is the Brandplate and how does it work?

Brandplate is a customizable faceplate (sold separately) that clips onto the front of the siren, allowing security companies to display their logo, company name, and contact information. This transforms the siren into a marketing tool that promotes security services to neighbours and visitors. Brandplates are available in black or white, sold in batches of 10, with free printing available when ordering 40 or more units.

Can the siren be used outdoors?

Yes, the Superior StreetSiren DoubleDeck Jeweller is specifically designed for both outdoor and indoor use. The hermetically sealed enclosure is rated IP54 for ingress protection, providing resistance against rain, snow, and dust. What is the difference between Jeweller and Wings protocols?

The siren uses two different wireless protocols for specific purposes. Jeweller is used for transmitting alarms, events, and status updates with instant notifications, whilst Wings is used for transmitting photos and updating firmware over-the-air. Both protocols feature block encryption with dynamic keys and two-way communication for enhanced security.

Can I connect an external power supply?

Yes, the siren includes terminals for connecting a 12V external power supply. When external power is connected, the pre-installed batteries act as backup power, ensuring the siren continues operating during mains power failures. What is the Chimes function?

Can I customize which detectors activate the siren?

Yes, installers can configure the siren’s response to individual detectors through the Ajax apps. This allows you to specify which devices should trigger the siren’s alarm and which should not. For example, you might configure the siren to ignore water leak detector alarms whilst responding to intrusion detector triggers, preventing unnecessary disturbances for specific event types.

What is the communication range?
