Multiple cables can be connected together to form larger detection zones up to the panel’s maximum capacity (30 m for mini panels, 50 m for larger panels).

Can I connect multiple cable kits together?

Yes, detection cables can be connected together to form larger detection zones. The IL-MINI-2 panel supports up to 30 metres of cable per zone, while larger 2, 4, and 8 zone panels support up to 50 metres of cable per zone. This allows you to combine multiple cable kits to achieve the coverage needed for your specific application.

What is the purpose of the cable terminator?

The IL-WDC-T cable terminator ensures reliable end-of-line monitoring by completing the detection loop. This allows the system to verify that the entire cable circuit is intact and functioning correctly, providing fault detection capabilities in addition to water leak detection.

Where should the IL-INT-S interface be installed?

The surface-mount interface should be installed just outside the monitored zone in a location that provides easy visibility of the bright blue LED. This allows maintenance personnel to quickly identify which specific detection zone has activated without needing to enter the monitored area or access the main control panel.
