What is included in the Identi-Leak Probe Zone Starter Kit?

Each kit includes either a 1m or 3m water detection probe (IL-WDP-01 or IL-WDP-03) and one IL-INT-S surface-mounted interface. The probe provides pinpoint water detection while the interface delivers local visual indication of leak and fault conditions with a bright blue LED.

What is the difference between the 1m and 3m probe options?

The primary difference is cable length. The IL-WDP-01 features a 1m cable suitable for monitoring compact areas or locations close to the interface, while the IL-WDP-03 with its 3m cable provides greater reach for monitoring more distant locations or larger equipment installations.

Can I connect multiple probes to one interface?

When connected to an Identi-Leak control panel, you can install up to 10 probes per zone on the Mini Panel or up to 20 probes per zone on the 2, 4 and 8 zone panels. Each probe requires connection through an appropriate interface.

Does this kit work as a standalone system?

This probe kit requires connection to an Identi-Leak control panel to provide power, alarm functionality and system supervision. For a complete standalone system, consider the Identi-Leak Starter Kit which includes the control panel, interface, probe or cable, and sounder.

Can I use both probes and detection cables on the same system?

Yes, the Identi-Leak system allows both probes and detection cables to be installed on the same zone through the appropriate interfaces. This provides flexibility to combine pinpoint probe detection with larger area cable coverage as required by the application.

How does the bright blue LED help with leak identification?

Yes, when connected to an Identi-Leak control panel, the system provides fault and alarm relay outputs which can integrate with Building Management Systems for centralised monitoring and alarm handling across facility management platforms.

What mounting options are available for the IL-INT-S interface?

The IL-INT-S interface is designed for surface mounting and can be installed on walls outside monitored rooms, plant areas or equipment spaces. Flush mount interfaces (IL-INT-F) are also available separately if preferred for aesthetic installations.
