Summary
The AirSense ModuLaser Detector Module is a scalable aspirating smoke detection solution designed to simplify installation and maintenance while extending the capabilities of traditional air sampling detectors. The system consists of display and detector modules, which communicate via RS-485 interconnections. Each detector module is a fully self-contained unit that aspirates sampled air from the protected area, analyzes it, and determines if a pre-alarm or alarm should be raised based on the presence of smoke particles.
The modular nature of ModuLaser allows for maintenance on a module-by-module basis, reducing the risk of unprotected areas during maintenance. This makes ModuLaser ideal for hostile environments due to its advanced features that resist dust and dirt, providing early warning capabilities without nuisance alarms.
