The Fyreye Conventional Ultra-Violet Flame Detector (FEUV2000) is designed for environments where flames are expected to develop before smoke, such as in areas with camera film, computer, audio, and video tapes or disks. This detector is intended for indoor use only and should be protected from spurious UV sources like sparks, uncovered halogen lights, and lightning to prevent false alarms. Due to the operational characteristics of flame detectors, it is generally advisable to install only one detector per zone in conventional fire alarm systems.
