Summary
The SigTEL Network Communication Card, Part No. ECU722, is an optional system expansion device designed to enhance the capabilities of SigTEL controllers. This card allows up to 14 ECU-4, ECU-8, ECU-16, or ECU-8NT controllers to be interlinked, facilitating the creation of extensive systems with up to 224 lines using 14 ECU-16 controllers. Each networked SigTEL controller requires one ECU722 card, ensuring seamless integration and communication across the network.
With the ECU722, any ECU-4, ECU-8, or ECU-16 controller can assume control of the system at any time through the input of a special code. For networked systems that do not require multiple control points, controllers without handsets, such as the ECU-8NT, are available. It is important to note that for controllers equipped with an optional ECU-224 desk controller, the ECU723 interface/network card should be used instead of the ECU722.
