Hochiki ESP Addressable Heat Detector
Summary
The ATJ-EN is a Multi-Heat Sensor designed to provide reliable fire detection through advanced technology. Fully compatible with Hochiki’s ESP Analogue Addressable Protocol, this sensor features both a Variable Temperature heat element and a Rate of Rise heat element. These elements can be controlled individually or simultaneously from the Control Panel to make accurate fire decisions.
The sensor also includes polling LEDs that can be managed via the Control Panel for pulsing or non-pulsing operation. Approved to LPCB & VdS standards, the ATJ-EN offers robust performance across various classes and includes SIL Level 2 approved variants.

FAQ
When replacing an existing ACB–E heat with this ALN-EN, will my system need to be re-programmed?
It depends if the panel in question doesn’t support the new device type then the panel will not need any programming and the new device will be seen with the old product code.
However if the panel supports the new device types, then you will get a wrong device type when they are sapped over, depending on panel type this will just need an auto learn of the loop to correct.
