What do the different LED colours indicate on the Switch Interface Plate?

The status LED indicates: Green – SIP is healthy and idle; Blue or Red (configurable) – SIP is activated; Flashing Blue or Red – SIP is activated but pending cancellation; Yellow – Short circuit fault detected; Flashing Yellow – Open circuit fault detected.

What are the four dipswitch settings and what do they control?

The four dipswitch settings control: 1) Momentary/Latching operation mode; 2) Off/Monitored for circuit fault detection; 3) NO (Normally Open)/NC (Normally Closed) contact type; 4) Red/Blue LED colour selection when activated.

Why must the Switch Interface Plate be the last device on the circuit?

Yes, when set to “Monitored” mode via dipswitch 2, the device can detect open circuit and short circuit conditions. Short circuits illuminate the LED yellow, while open circuits cause the LED to flash yellow. Both faults display as open circuit faults on the control module.
